I have FUP installed and is working. However, the URLs in my sitemap are not friendly:

URL in sitemap:

http://wilde-chryslersubaru.com/Default.aspx?tabid=311

Friendly URL:

http://wilde-chryslersubaru.com/UsedCars.aspx

Do I need any special set up to get the friendly URLs to work in the Sitemap?

Hi sue,

I need to know what is your DNN version and if you use a specific sitemap module ? Normally, you don't need to do anything to make this working.

DNN Version 5.4.4

The site is sing the standard DNN Sitemap module. I added a custom provider for Property Agent that includes all the properties in the sitemap.

Hi,

I suggest you to enable the "301 redirect" in the basis settings and in each modules strategy.

Please do it and give us a feedback.

I enabled 301 redirects for wilde-florida.com and the sitemap URLs are now friendly.

However, on another site, wilde-toyota.com, the sitemap URLs are not friendly:
http://wilde-toyota.com/SiteMap.aspx

301 redirects are enabled. Any other suggestions?

I have 4 portals in this DNN install:

wilde-florida.com
wilde-toyota.com
wilde-hondacars.com
wilde-chryslersubaru.com

I have enabled "301 redirect" for all portals. Using the coreSitemapProvider, the sitemap for ALL the portals have the unfriendly URLs.

Could I send you login information so you can take a look? This is a priority and I hope to hear back from you soon.

I have another site with the latest version of FUP. The URLs are friendly, but the sitemap is not:

http://wholylocal.com/SiteMap.aspx

Can you help?

Hi Sue,

I've checked your sitemap url and all urls are correctly rewrited.
When you have checked your sitemap, were you logged on another tab in your browser with an admin login ? Try to log you out before check the sitemap, url should correctly rewrited.
